WWE Raw Results – February 23, 2015
We go right to the ring and out comes Randy Orton to a big pop.
Triple H’s music hits instead and out he comes with Stephanie McMahon, Kane and Big Show.
Stephanie welcomes Orton back and says he made a hell of a return at Fastlane and has made another big return tonight. She says that’s the Randy Orton everybody loves. She gets fans to chant his name again. She says that Orton is the one she wants as the face of WWE. Orton says he’s not a part of this family, not a part of The Authority and won’t be forgiving Rollins. Orton says he’s going to bash Rollins’ head in. Stephanie is confident Orton can forgive Rollins. She says Orton left them no choice back in November. She says they’re all willing to forgive him. Stephanie tells Orton to come back home and fans start a “no!” chant. Orton says that’s tempting but he’d rather kick some a** than kiss some a**. Big Show tries to talk but fans boo him heavily. Big Show tells Orton he understands the anger because he’s had to put some to the side also. Show says joining The Authority was the best personal decision he’s ever made. Fans chant “you sold out” at Show.
Orton says he’s not interested in selling out. Stephanie tells Orton he’s not a good guy and never has been one.They go to leave the ring but Triple H just stares Orton down for a minute. Triple H’s music hits as the group heads to the back and Orton looks on. Orton takes the mic and stops them. Orton says he will come to their business meeting in the back. He drops the mic and looks on.
Bad News Barrett vs. Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
After the match, Dean Ambrose comes out to a pop. He has Barrett’s title belt. Ambrose taunts Barrett and talks trash while Barrett is down in the corner. Ambrose turns around and Ziggler is standing there.
Darren Young and Titus O’Neil vs. The Ascension
Winners: Darren Young and Titus O’Nei
WWE Tag Team Title Match: The Usos vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd
Winners by DQ: The Usos
We get a look at Bray Wyatt’s challenge to The Undertaker. We go backstage to Wyatt and the coffin he had at Fastlane. Wyatt cuts a promo on The Undertaker and says he’s going to finish the job at WrestleMania. Wyatt says he knows Taker is afraid but there’s no reason to hide. Wyatt says it’s better down here. He shuts the coffin lid and tells Taker to find him.

Back from the break and out comes John Cena to a big mixed reaction.
Rusev’s music hits and out comes the WWE United States Champion with Lana.
Paige and Emma vs. The Bella Twins
Winners: The Bella Twins
Back from the break and we get the 2015 Hall of Fame video for The Bushwhackers.
Curtis Axel vs. Ryback
Winner: Ryback
Back from the break and Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan vs. Rollins, Show and Kane is announced for SmackDown.
Seth Rollins and Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan
Winners: Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns
After the bell, Orton looks on as Kane talks him down. Bryan’s music hits as he and Reigns celebrate some. Rollins recovers in the ring as Orton paces around at ringside. The camera goes black and all we can see is the USA Network logo. The feed comes back on and we see Orton standing in the corner of the ring while Rollins tries to get to his feet. Orton walks over to Rollins but Noble comes in and Orton hits him with a RKO. Orton picks Rollins up in the corner, looks at him and just leaves the ring as fans boo. Orton’s music hits as Rollins looks on shocked. We go back to the announcers for a WWE Network plug. RAW goes off the air with The Authority talking in the ring after another set of replays.

We go right to the ring and out comes Seth Rollins with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble.
We get a look at Rollins’ invading The Daily Show last week as he heads to the ring. Rollins takes the mic and says Jon Stewart just finished his Daily Show tapings and is on his way to RAW right now to confront him. Rollins goes on and is interrupted by Roman Reigns’ music.They argue and Rollins shoves Reigns. Reigns hits him with a right hand. Reigns tosses Rollins and hits a Superman punch on Noble. Mercury takes a spear. Rollins retreats to the stage as Reigns’ music hits. Reigns and Rollins stare at each other as we go to replays. We come back and Reigns has his boot on Rollins’ briefcase, which was dropped in the ring.
Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett
Winner: Dean Ambrose
We come back and Bray Wyatt is on the stage with the casket. He cuts a promo on The Undertaker and wonder if he still has it in him. Wyatt talks about his obsession with fire and says fire is just like him. Wyatt douses the casket in fluid. He says he would walk through hell to see Taker’s face. He says Taker doesn’t know who he’s dealing with. Wyatt says everything burns with him and at WrestleMania, The Deadman will burn also. Wyatt lights the casket on fire and yells for Taker to find him as we go to commercial.
Natalya, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. Naomi and The Usos
Winners: Naomi and The Usos
Back from the break and out comes John Cena. We get a look back at Rusev turning down his challenge last week. Cena says that brings him to tonight.
Cena says but now, his focus should be on WrestleMania 31. Cena enters himself in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and fans boo. Stephanie McMahon’s music hits and out she comes.
Stephanie says no, Cena cannot be in the Andre Battle Royal.The music hits and out comes Curtis Axel to the stage.
Stephanie says the only way Cena will face Rusev at WrestleMania is if Cena can change Rusev’s mind.
John Cena vs. Curtis Axel
Winner: John Cena
After the match, WWE United States Champion Rusev comes to the stage with Lana. Rusev waves the Russian flag as Cena looks on. Lana congratulates Cena on his triumphant victory. Rusev says like Stephanie told him, the only way to get the match at WrestleMania is for Rusev to change his mind. Rusev says his answer is…. “yes” and “no” chants break out. Rusev knocks the fans and they interrupt him with a USA chant. Rusev says his decision is… no. The Russian flag drops down over the ring and rattles Cena. Rusev’s music hits as Cena looks up at the flag.
Back from the break and out comes Triple H to the ring. We see stills from the confrontation with Sting at Fastlane. He says a lot of people wonder why Sting never came to WWE. Triple H says everyone has theories, including JBL, Booker T… he calls Booker into the ring because Booker knew Sting. Fans chant for Booker as he comes in and shakes Triple H’s hand.
Triple H fires Booker like it’s nothing. They stare at each other and Booker exits the ring. He goes to the announce table and grabs his stuff before heading to the back. A CM Punk chant starts. Triple H stops Booker from walking away and says he was just messing with him, he’s not fired.
WWE Divas Title Match: Paige vs. Nikki Bella
Winner by DQ: Paige
After the match, the beatdown continues on Paige. AJ Lee’s music hits and she runs down to a big pop. She and Paige clean house and team up to clear the ring of both Bellas.
We go to the ring and it’s set up for The Daily Show with Seth Rollins. Mercury and Noble are behind Rollins’ desk.The music hits and out comes Stewart to a pop.
Rollins yells and cuts him off. Rollins says Stewart has said enough. They take Stewart’s chair and Rollins backs him up against the ropes. Rollins grabs Stewart by his collar and Randy Orton’s music hits for the distraction. Stewart hits Rollins with a low blow kick and exits the ring as The Stooges are looking at Orton walk down the ramp.
Luke Harper vs. Daniel Bryan
Winner: Daniel Bryan
Cole leads us to the 2015 Hall of Fame video package for Madusa, formerly known as Alundra Blayze.
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
Orton grabs Reigns’ foot and distracts him. Rollins takes advantage and rolls Reigns up for the win.
Winner: Seth Rollins
After the match, Reigns laps out of the ring and takes out Kane, Rollins and The Stooges. He meets Show on the ramp and takes him down. Kane eats a spear. Show comes from behind and decks Reigns in the kidney before rolling him back in. Show takes a Superman punch and a spear. Rollins comes off the top but Reigns spears him in mid-air. We get replays and come back to Reigns looking on as The Authority tries to recover. RAW goes off the air with Reigns standing tall.
