Major Changes may take place in WWE's pay-per-view structure!

According to the Wrestlevotes Twitter account, from the 6th of May, Backlash pay-per-view, all of WWE's pay-per-view events going forward will be dual-branded and feature stars from both the brands of Raw and SmackDown Live.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, the Brand Exclusive pay-per-views are going to come to an end on the 6th of May on Backlash.

If this is true, then there will be no more Brand Exclusive pay-per-views after Wrestlemania, and SmackDown Live's Fastlane pay-per-view might be the last Brand Exclusive pay-per-view for the foreseeable future. According to the tweet, their sources told them that the lack of ticket sales due to repetitive matches is teh major cause behind decision.

Starting with the Backlash PPV May 6th, all PPVs going forward will be dual branded. No more RAW or Smackdown exclusive shows. Source states repetitive matchups to fill the card along with so-so ticket sales lead to the decision.

The weekly TV shows will not be effected.

Stephanie McMahon says WWE could be sold to Fox or Disney

There have been many rumors circulating for the past few months about whether WWE is for sale following the announcement of Vince McMahon's new venture Alpha Entertainment.

Well, Stephanie McMahon recently spoke to Bloomberg Businessweek about the current state of WWE and who the company could be sold to.

with UFC being sold for $4 billion, Vince McMahon had a change of heart and has been open to the possibility of selling up.

On a recent conference call, Triple H was asked about whether WWE was "open for business" in terms of a potential sale and he also commented that it's "obvious" Vince McMahon is open to offers.
