- It appears former WWE NXT Superstar Elias Samson is joining the RAW brand after recently losing the "Loser Leaves NXT" match to Kassius Ohno. Samson briefly appeared on tonight's "Superstar Shakeup" edition of RAW but was not announced as a new roster member. He simply walked out on the stage with his guitar before Cesaro, Sheamus and RAW Tag Team Champions The Hardys defeated Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and The Shining Stars in eight-man action. That was the only time we saw him. Below is video of the main roster debut:

Finn Balor suffered a concussion on last night's "Superstar Shakeup" edition of WWE RAW from Long Island.

The injury came when he took the stiff forearm shot from Jinder Mahal during their match, as seen below. Fans have been tweeting negative comments to Mahal since the match happened last night. It was Balor's first singles match on WWE television, although he worked singles matches against Mahal at live events last month.

No word yet on how long Balor might be out

David Otunga cast as lead in new action franchise, Raw debut delayed

SmackDown LIVE's David Otunga moved to the Raw announce desk in the Superstar Shake-up Monday night — swapping places with Team Red's Byron Saxton — but the former WWE Tag Team Champion's debut alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be delayed for six weeks, as he has been cast in the lead role of a new action franchise, WWE.com has confirmed.

Otunga's latest film endeavor leaves a temporary vacancy on the Raw commentary team. Who will serve as his replacement?

Although the graphic on RAW for the Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt "House of Horrors" match at WWE Payback stated that it was for the WWE Championship, the updated listing for the match at WWE.com has no mention of the title being on the line, although they do for the other title matches on the show. Also, the announcers on RAW and SmackDown haven't made mention of the title being on the line, so it appears that it is now a non-title match.

The New Day comprises WWE Superstars Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They now perform as part of the SmackDown® brand.

Fans can tune in to SmackDown locally every Wednesday at 5:30 am on Ten 2, with additional airings later in the day at 5 pm on Ten 1 channel.
