Windies tour of India - 2019 | News & Updates

Chahal is in side due to RCB quota nothing else
You really have to be ashamed on posting that. No wonder why people in rcb fan groups hate KKR fans, more than even say, CSK
even Rohit Sharma who was leading side in absence of Virat had said he will prefer Kuldeep as his 1st specialist spinner on any pitch.
That has to be last year or before the IPL began. He wasn't even there in the limited overs quota until this series post world cup

@Sparker0i bro u said u will pic economical bowler like sunder anyday but that's not reason behind Ashwin exclusion from white ball cricket as despite being economical on given day he is not able to get wickets which is most important in white ball cricket
Yesterday itself despite being costing run on a flat track Kuldeep picks up imp wickets of hetmyer and holder

  • In white ball, especially T20, he wasn't usually bowling in the powerplay, unlike sundar. That's why he doesn't add value specially in T20 team.
  • His catching/fielding has been particularly bad in T20Is, one of the primary reasons why he was dropped from the limited overs team in 2017

Hetmyer ok, Holder hasn't done anything much with the bat in any T20 game, international or domestic. Can't say his wicket was important.
Even then, i would go for someone who helps contain the powerplay and/or middle overs than someone who leaks runs..

Talking about fielding look at the fielding if sunder in first two t20 he dropped two or three catches
Secondly if we need Ashwin or any bowler in power play then what's the point of having good fast bowlers in side ,one more thing if he is that good in power play then why virat doesn't used him yesterday when ball is new and without dew I tell u the ans virat needed wickets upfront
Lastly if he doesn't pick holder wicket he would hold one end and give the support Pollard needs from the other hand

One bad series should not decide that.

Because sundar can contain the runs which Ashwin can't in the powerplay

That was quite unfortunate yesterday. He did pick up early wickets last ipl whenever he played. Too unfortunate he didn't get too many matches then

Giving support doesn't really matter if he can't play according to the situation, and looking at his overall T20 career in batting, he hasn't so far...

Bro this is not franchise cricket like ipl being good in IPL doesn't means he is also good in international matches best example is pant
So don't bring that excuse again and again that he did that in IPL last year he overall has 15 wickets in 17 international games that too with AVG of 27 while on the other hand Kuldeep and chahal had AVG of 13 and 21 respectively in international games
End of discussion on my side

Still, inspite of that average, form of Kuldeep has been much worse, international franchise or domestic, compared to chahal and sundar. He doesn't merit team selection based on his form any recognised game this year. End of discussion from my side

Team India is set to have a special guest at the nets when they head to Visakhapatnam for the second ODI of the series against West Indies. In what will undoubtedly be sweet music for the ears of cricket fans across the country, pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah will be at the nets to train with the Men in Blue as the team management checks his recovery after undergoing rehabilitation for the stress fracture he suffered on his back.
Jasprit Bumrah to test back against Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma in Vizag
