Hard-hitting opening batsman Evin Lewis has withdrawn from the India tour for the limited-overs series due to personal reasons, Cricket West Indies confirmed on Wednesday (October 17). While Kieran Powell will replace him in the ODI squad, Nicholas Pooran has been named as his replacement for the T20I series.

Windies coach Stuart Law has been suspended for his team's the first two ODIs against India - on October 21 and 24 - after being fined 100 percent of his match fee and getting three demerit points for inappropriate comments made towards the TV umpire and the fourth official.

Rishabh Pant set for ODI debut in Guwahati
After an impressive couple of months in Test cricket, Rishabh Pant is all set to be handed his ODI debut in the first of the five-match ODI series against the West Indies in Guwahati on Sunday (October 21).
Pant has been named in a 12-man shortlist for the series opener announced by the BCCI and is set to play as a specialist batsman with MS Dhoni playing as the wicket-keeper.
