Fancode already have collaborated with Doordarshan for various sports rights, Disney + jio ,sony will not be ready for cooperation for present situation

There is scope for return of spending on sports rights, especially cricket have huge market , why should it always run to behind private broadcasting , especially. Bbc is government funded system which had shown how to bid for sports rights before

Do you think reliance and star earning from cricket rights?
They are just spending this huge amount to keep subscribers with a hope that in future subscription model will work.

I understand your views,I just share concern regarding public broadcasting channel doesn't play positive role in bidding or make arrangements from private bidders for sharing feed for Doordarshan across all area

Please inform Prasar Bharathi to consider closing the "Khelo India TV" channel on private DTH and cable TV platforms to save on satellite fees. The channel has a significant amount of content for highlights, but it is currently broadcasting Khelo india matches 24*7
