Which TV are you Using | How Old - Satisfied Or Not ?

This will help members of forum to make purchases ...
Posting snaps of your TV Setup would be extra bonus for all members ..

P.S : Repairs doesn't mean the brand is not good , as it depends on many factors and usage conditions ...

i have a old samsung 21 inch tv nearly 15 yrs old in my home town, no issues and still running almost 8 hrs a day. no LED can match it

Bought in 2010 end.
Not faces any issues

Sony 40" R452a Bought 4 Years Ago at 55K... Two Months back faced error code 6 Cost for Repair 4.5K.

I am using Bpl CRT - 16 yr old ... Issues with PQ after some 2-3 repairs ... Contrast is about 40% even when it's set to full ..

Earlier the tv when switched ON , only played sound with blank screen ... for around 30-40 mins ... Which was reason for repair ..

Sony 19' LCD bought in 2008 at Rs.18,0000 almost nearing 10 years currently using it as Modem for PC,Before buying New Sony 32' led tv at Rs.32000 in 2015 the old 19' TV used as a Modem & TV with Sun Direct STB until 2015,Old 19' LCd TV runs almost 12 hours a day still no service nor repair.32' Sony LED Tv completing Two years successfully without any issue too.

Before that 1995 - 2008 for 13 years old model Videocon Colour TV,got repaired only once in entire life time repair cost under Rs.1000 Only.

My is Samsung 55cm (22 inch) Full HD LED TV (Model 22F5100)
Bought on Feb 2nd 2015 @₹10,700 at that time

Till now doesn't need of repair.

LG 32" from 2014 not a single repair till today.
*A suggestion, add a poll which asks what sort of TV do you have/prefer to have in your place Widescreen (16:9) or square box screen (4:3) , So we could know that sd channels should be changed to widescreen format or not.

1. Philips Crt Black and White tv. Bought in 1995. Working till now. Sold last week in working condition for Rs 60 Age: 22
2. Sansui Crt Colour tv .Bought in 2005. Using it now with Airtel Dth. Age : 12 years still counting...:kiss:
