Best OS is open source Linux. There is no need for cleaning with anti-virus, and almost all softwares are free to download. I used Ubuntu 10 and Fedora for sometime. But we all addicted to Windows, I am also using Windows 7 professional.

Programmers and software developers like to work in Linux platform. I got a recommendation from one such person, So I tried Fedora for few days. Windows is known for its simplicity and easy to use, so I back to Windows 7.
