What is the procedure to disconnect BSNL FTTH + Landline connection ???
We are in 2025 and the BSNL official website still has no documentation on how to surrender their connection is very disappointing. What is the procedure to disconnect BSNL FTTH + Landline connection ???
BSNL employees at their office never work at all.Final review after using the BSNL network for 90+ days.
1. BSNL is still ~5-7 years behind the competitors.
2. BSNL offices are looking like a ghost houses without proper maintainance and old generation employees.
3. Service requests gets closed automatically, without even bothering to call the customer.
4. Customer care just provide solutions to insert SIM in primary slots, restart phone etc.
5. Speed is comparatively slower than any other 4g network with highest ping time.
6. Network is not optimized and keeps switching the barriers 2g/3g/4g
7. There is no carrier aggregation to serve 4g with multiple frequency bands.
8. VoLTE not activated by default and calling issues atleast 90% of the time if traveling
9. Google maps goes out of network
10. No ESIM support yet
11. Sometimes Call connects to wrong people.
12. OTP never comes ontime
13. Can't rely on network for making payments and need to keep cash for emergency always.
14. Network coverage is not so great and in most of the roads, atleast10dbm lesser signal than its competitors.
Just port out request sent to VI network. Will review once VI is fully active.
When you submitted the letter for closure you would have received an acknowledgement for it. Usually they photocopy it and the receiving officer stamps and signs it with the date of receiving it. That is all the proof you need, you can ignore all further bills without any consequences.BSNL employees at their office never work at all.
Last month I went and submitted a physical form to close my landline connection and this month I am receiving the bill as usual.
Very rude and strange people.
Government must privatise BSNL or should completely close and save the public.
I have the acknowledgement copy but what is the use?? Upon calling them to ask why they missed out, the other guy in the call was speaking very rude and saying that he cant close unless I visit again. Very old generation living in the 90s.When you submitted the letter for closure you would have received an acknowledgement for it. So just reply "close don't close that's your lookout, I'm not paying any further bills"the other guy in the call was speaking very rude and saying that he cant close unless I visit again. Very old generation living in the 90s.
I sent a mail to appellate authority attaching the acknowledgement. So just reply "close don't close that's your lookout, I'm not paying any further bills"
There can be no action taken against you so long as you have the acknowledgement stamped by the telephone exchange.
Typo bro? This gives a learning that I should go with BSNL.
Corrected.Typo bro?![]()
That's the way to go. These sarkari babus feel like they are in charge and can do as they please. Best to show them what a common subscriber is capable of.I sent a mail to appellate authority attaching the acknowledgement.
Today I received sms stating my connection was close.
