Band Of Brothers

I remember seeing this in lockdown and wanted to share it here. The plot essentially revolves the around a paratrooper battalion and their journey across the continent during their battles in WW2. This series is probably the finest one HBO has ever produced. In terms of recognition, this isn't much popular but rivals the quality of Chernobyl. Except episode 1 which is kind of slow, great but slow, then the rest of them are so much engaging, the characters are incredible, direction is just chefs kiss. And the acting is one of the best you will ever see in an ensemble cast. Perhaps one of the best point is how it makes the viewers feels the tremors and the atmosphere makes it even more gripping.
Easily one of the best show/movie set around WW2. Must watch 10/10.

Dunno how are you able to watch it. I am barely able to keep up with characters. While chernobyl was excellant, this one pace is very slow and snoozefest for me. Will try again with pen and paper to keep note of tracks. Ross is also not helping it in anyway.

Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd. is the perfect slap in the face to all the Saas Bahu shows on TV. It literally broke all the TV stereotypes from Saas Bahu serials.

Lessons TV can learn from OTT

#1 Stepmom who is nice to step children. Has more maturity than birth mother which is a taboo for some reasons in our TV and movies. Sends wrong message to society. Never heard anyone talk positive about stepmoms.

Also a kid who outgrews her hatred for her stepmom. By seeing how nice she treated her for stealing.

#2 Man can be unhappy with his marriage. And has the right remarry to the love he founded.

#3 Divorced women can find love and marry. While her child also gets a loving father.

#4 Mother in law who prefers her former daughter in law over her son.

#5 Old person admitting to her son having father issue for all the machoism he shows around his kids by abusing them.

#6 Another person who conned another person. Felt sorry. Help a lady without wanting anything more.

Good luck following that Anupama crap.

Exactly this is not something which you can binge watch.Even watching an episode was sometimes too much for me.

I think what makes it long is this point-
Perhaps one of the best point is how it makes the viewers feels the tremors and the atmosphere makes it even more gripping.
I think this part is which drags it down as per you say. Creating that kind of atmosphere for the viewers requires some time, for movies it’s just limited time but on a show, creators have a lot of time on hands so they try to show every detail and spasms, even the minute points needs to be recognized.

Crash Course:
Kota Factory on steroids. Of course it not as amazing as Kota Factory, but it is really entertaining. Episodes are not too long. Watched it in one go. Definitely a show worth watching.
(8.5/10)

Darlings:
Another great movie by Alia Bhatt after Gangubai. Loved it. Each and every one's performance was good. The only downside was its runtime. I feel it could have been trimmed a bit.
(8/10)

The Sandman:
Apart from the production quality looking like a weekly US cable TV drama, it was actually a good show. Way beyond my expectations. From the first few moments itself you will get hooked. Episode 5 and 6 were my favorite. I feel this was just the tip of the iceberg. There's much more ahead. I just hope they improve the production quality in the next season. This one gave kind of cheap feeling.

My only grudge against Sandman was that they tried to make the main character Morpheus look like Robert Pattinson of Twilight even though Tom Sturridge looks totally different in his real life
