The Day of the Jackal on JioCinema is exceptionally good. Gets you hooked from the very first scene. Unfortunately it hasn't gotten much popularity for some reason. Maybe due to the platform it's available in(?). But it's always one of the first thing you see when you open JioCinema. Anyways, can't recommend it enough.

Yes i liked it too.it was funny though to see Newt playing role of the Jackal. But kudos to him,he played the role of a sociopath to perfection. The series though suffers from the fact that this story has been told multiple times through series and movies so as there is nothing new to know.By the way Condor is another good watch from similar genre.

Yeah. I got to know about that when I was researching about the show. But this show was my first.

Watched Despatch on ZEE5.Loads of rubbish and it left me wondering what exactly forced a senior actor like Manoj Bajpayee into extremely intimate scenes. It doesn’t suits him at all.

I think Manoj Bajpayee & Nawazuddin Siddiqui have some multi-film deal with Zee5. That's why they keep on appearing in such mediocre Zee5 Originals again and again.

I don't have problem with him doing number of movies with Zee5.Yes quality is getting awful but a 55 yr old actor celebrated for his work giving Emraan Hashmi run for money didn't sit well with me.

I lost my appetite.

Started La Brea. A little bit slower than Dark but faster than From.
Completed the series. Only first few episodes were good but after that they always added new elements in the story to make the series lengthy. But if you want to watch good scenic views of nature or want to watch with family, then go ahead. But remember this is in English only.

Finally watched Amaran over weekend. It is a beautifully made movie which stayed on its course of telling the story of a man and a soldier late Major Mukund Varadrajan rather than projecting him as some kind of superhero. These are stories which needs to be told so that future generations don't take our freedom and peace for granted.Movie though could have been shorter but unlike Sam Bahadur which despite its extended runtime had to revert to story jumps of decades to finish the movie ,Amaran avoided these pitfalls.

Thukra Ke Mera Pyar = Slow painful death of viewers. Watching since three weeks. I have watched 16 episodes by now. Nothing interesting has happening yet. This series is giving so much B level movie vibes. This would be interesting if it was some regional webseries made for platform like Shemaroo or Stage.
It got interesting after the unexpected twist at the final episode. Than Hotstar stopped uploading new episodes. Typical Hotstar thing to do.
