I used this Rs 20 recharge on my vodafone number. Can confirm I got Rs 20 Main Balance and 28 days Outgoing validity. Also, I used this with FLAT20 promocode of Freecharge, so got back Rs 20 as cashback as well. Double benefit! Full Talktime and Full Cashback.

Just thinking about this- Effectively, this is zero cost per month (28 days). Now the Rs 20 recharge gives Rs 20 main talktime and 28 days validity. Note that the Main Balance validity in indefinite. Meaning, effectively cost is zero. You may accumulate this talktime in main balance forever, and later use it to activate any Service Validity Plan (Eg: Rs 35) or Unlimited Packs like (Rs 169, Rs 199, Rs 399) etc.

This move is certainly a damage control measure after Vodafone losing scores of subscribers due to non-recharge. What are your thoughts, guys? Do you think Airtel will follow suit?

Dial *121# and see if it appears in your offers. As far as this recharge is concerned, it is out in several media reports, and hence should be valid in all circles. Also, its valid for all users and not targeted to a few.

u can recharge it via Vodafone website or nearest dealer, it will bounce back if it is not applicable for ur number.
note- dont try it via Vodafone apps or paytm (cc told me)

Since the revision of Tariffs on 06-Dec-2019, this Rs 20 recharge giving Full Talktime and 28 days validity has been discontinued by Vodafone.
