Cheap tablets are slowly becoming more and more popular. With Google’s Nexus 7 hitting the premium side of things at $199 many have been trying to match it. How about a 10-inch dual-core tablet that’s powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean all for just $205. Well that’s exactly what Videocon has released in their new TV10 tablet.

There’s plenty of cheap Android tablets in the world, especially from China. However this is more than just a knock off tablet, although sadly it appears to only be available in India. At least initially it will only be in India but we’re hopeful it will see other markets soon. It might not have a quad-core and maxed out specs, but for just over $200 it’s looking pretty good.

The Videocon VT10 isn’t just your average tablet though either. You’ll be rocking a 10.1-inch 1280×800 display, Rockchips RK3066 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, microSD support for added storage options, dual 2 megapixel cameras, and more. This is all powered by a decently sized 6,800 mAh battery under the hood. And all for $205.

The Nexus 7 is $199 and only rocks a single weak camera, but then again it is a Nexus. There’s no telling how the hardware and software is on this thing, but so far it sounds pretty good. We do have some goofy on-screen volume controls but otherwise Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is keeping everything smooth.
