Over-the-cable updater for Windows Phone is an over-the-cable (OTC) solution to help business users upgrade their devices to the latest version of Windows Mobile 10 without having to download Windows Update and installing the updates. The tool is an application that can be done by double-clicking on the link or by using the command line. Upgrades are downloaded to your PC and can be used for installation on other devices. However, all PCs using the tool must log on to Windows Update to download the necessary files.

To upgrade your Windows Phone smartphone to Windows Mobile 10 using a PC:

• Download the program from the link at the bottom of the article.
• Run the OtcUpdaterZip.exe file .
• Read the license agreement carefully and click Yes .
• Select a location inside the PC where you extract the files and click the OK button .
• Wait for file extraction.
• Go to the folder where the files were extracted, right-click on otcupdater.exe and click Run as Administrator .
• If you have a User Account Control request, click Yes .
• Connect your smartphone to your computer and wait for updates and downloads.
