The above mentioned number was saved in my Android phone as well as in one of my sim memory. And if UIDAI and telecom companies hadn't any role then how it autosaved?

It's even saved in my iPhone automatically. I thought the issue was limited to Android. It's probably the sync that happens with Google account which affected even iPhones. Deleted the contact of course.
