The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai ) is working on plans which would enable users to check the speeds of their data connections and share the results with the regulator, reported Financial Express.
Trai will soon be asking telecom operators to create a platform which would enable subscribers to check their data speeds. The cost for uploading and downloading of data will be borne by the regulator.
“We want to ensure that the data experience of the subscribers gets better and are working constantly in this direction. We will soon ask the operators to create a URL through which subscribers can upload and download data to check speeds.
