Trivia of the day: Pakistan jumped to "Number One Test Team" in ICC Rankings only once and that was in 1988 during Imran Khan's regime.

There were no official Rankings at that time but according to current pattern of ICC Rankings. Pakistan was number one Test team in 1988.

The last time India lost three Test matches in a row in England was in the year 1974. On that tour too, one of India's opening batsmen, Sunil Gavaskar, was dismissed for a 'golden duck' at Edgbasaton.

VITAL STATISTICS: Amit Mishra has bowled 69 no-balls in his 12 Test career; England have bowled 39 in total in their last 12.:)

Trivia of the day: Brian Vitroi, the Zimbabwean bowler, has taken 5 wickets for 30 runs on his ODI debut against Bangladesh. This is 6th best bowling effort by bowlers on their debut.

The best performance on debut remains with Fidel Edwards, who took 6 wickets for 22 runs, against Zimbabwe in 2003 at same venue, Harare, where Vitori took 5 wickets today. Edwards was only 21 at that time.

Eng are now level with the west indies as a team with most(16 times) 500+ score against India.

"England's score of 596 at the start of the fifth wicket is their fifth-highest in Tests and their third-highest against India after the 641 for 4 at Lord's in 1990 and 599 for 4 in Chennai in 1985."

Sehwag is the third Indian after, BS Chandrasekar and Ajit Agarkar to bag a King pair.

Trivia: Six Indians have got King Pairs; they are Vijay Hazare, Surendranath, Bhagwath Chanderashekar, Srivina Venkataraghvan, Ajit Agarkar and latest being Virender Sehwag.

Only Pakistani to get a King Pair is Taufeeq Umar against Australia in Sharjah 2002

Did you know: In December 1997, after clean-sweeping West Indies by 3-0, Pakistan became the only second country to win 3-Test series without losing any wicket in 2nd innings.

Pakistan won first two Tests by an innings and won third Test by 10 wickets. They didn't lose any wicket in their 2nd innings of all 3 Tests.

Today in 1948, the most famous duck in the world was born: Needing to score only four runs to reach 7000 in Tests and an average of 100, Don Bradman was bowled second ball by Eric Hollies for no score.
