It is not new for them. They have kept many DVD/Blu-ray rights with them in past. Now, they are keeping digital rights to control their satellite viewership. I pray God for them incur huge losses and stop buying rights

That is a bad strategy.People pay premium for OTT to get early access.If OTT users also have to wait for TV premieres then why to pay for the premium.Also Gemini airs movies for 3:30 hrs-4 hours(1 hr ads), Very few people have patience to watch for that long.I don't expect good trp for such long duration movies.I am pretty sure AVPL duration will be 4 hrs on premiere.I just hate Gemini for this reason and never pay for that channel even for good movies.Also Sun NXT is in need of a good subscriber base or for what reason would SUN NXT have a deal with MX player and Jio Cinema.
