The industry, including Vi, did not lose active users in the March quarter even after 20-25% tariff hikes in November-December last year. This, analysts said, underlined that the market is ready to take another hike in its stride as telecom tariffs in India remain amongst the lowest globally.

 
12% is hardly anything, it will be minimum 20% hike again. They have to raise money for setting up the 5G infrastructure.
I don't mind even 50% hike if they are giving unlimited data with some speed caps like 50Mbps or 100Mbps.
