Chennai Super Kings are a relieved lot. It's two days to go for their second consecutive IPL final and the team they were wary about is gone. Kolkata Knight Riders ran Dhoni's men closest at the MA Chidambaram stadium this year and coach Stephen Fleming made no bones about the fact that they were happy to see Gautam Gambhir's men go.

"They had the balance to beat us here in Chennai. The composition of the team was pretty similar to that of ours with a lot of quality spinners in the team," Fleming said. He was obviously referring to the likes of Shakib-al-Hasan, Yusuf Pathan and Iqbal Abdulla, who looked very good as a unit right through the tournament. " KKR also had quality players like Jacques Kallis in their side who could have made things difficult for us. It's good that we don't have to face them in the final."

However, there's no reason to believe that the defending champions are taking anything for granted. Both Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians have beaten them once in this competition and Fleming made it clear that "both are quality sides". "Both the teams have some quality players in their line-up. There's no way you can take a team for granted, which has Gayle in it," the Kiwi added.

Gayle had single-handedly demolished CSK when the two sides met in Bangalore, and Fleming said the team was really happy to win the match against RCB on Tuesday.
