He has offered his services through his London-based agent Tom Harwood. Currently Streak is the bowling coach of IPL team Gujarat Lions.
Streak’s application and CV, first received by NCA chairman Niranjan Shah has been sent to the BCCI joint. hon. secretary, Amitabh Choudhary.

“During the IPL matches I met Heath Streak and he has shown interest to work at the NCA as a fast bowling coach.

“He is a high-profile cricketer and can be very useful to the NCA as a fast bowling coach we are looking for,’’ Shah has said in his letter to Choudhary.

Streak is a level-2 coach, level-2 tutor and level-3 bowling tutor (Asia Cricket Council). He has held many coaching positions with the Zimbabwe national team, Matabeleland Tuskers, Auckland Aces and is currently the head coach of Bangladesh.
