But they started Select channels to telecast non cricket sports. But they diluted it now.

Star did the production for 2015 CWC, the graphics were equally horrible;

But now the ICC graphics are back to those minimalistic, sober looks, which I prefer.

Bro what are saying, WC 2015 graphics and scorecard are best one in star sports side and personally I loved very much.i really expect much more better graphics in this year IPL.

Since viewership was low, they aired other sports and subsequently launched SD feeds. Also in India, cricket is the real Premium.

I was waiting for a +ve reply, Correct bro. Basically everyone has their own choices. but yes, ICC never raised concerns about then ESPN-STAR & now STAR Sports broadcasts way back since 2007, instead all were praised.

The problem is that now they have to recover amount spend on ipl through subscription hence airing on ss select1.
I think no problem for international sports as it will still have two channel ss2 and sss2

They might even have plans of dedicating a channel for cricket like Sky Sports. Let's wait and watch the drama unfold!

They abondoned Star Cricket because most people tend to subscribe only to that particular channel and they couldnt force other sports in that particular channel dedicated to Cricket and also now they use various channels ie Star Sports 1 to telecast India matches, Star Sports Select 1 to telecast other country international matches and Star Sports 2 to telecast domestic matches. So if they go back to have a channel dedicated to Cricket then they cannot force a true cricket lover to subscribe to 3 of their channels and also they cannot promote other sports in their main channel dedicated to cricket.
