crap cricbuzz updated scorecard as rahul instead of vijay on Stumps yesterday :angry:

But i saw on Cricbuzz during Stumps they clearly mention vijay as last wkt & rahul playing

I thought that's true coz didn't saw the match later only came to know rahul out vijay in

In South Africa I can see Vijay as opener because he & Rahane only both players performed well in overseas.
Just before starting this series I was with Rahul but defense & technique of leaving balls of Vijay is much better than Rahul.

If Vijay continues his form in this series, he's a better opener than Rahul.

I prefer Dhawan - Vijay opening.

I feel the rule should be equal to everyone. If anyone is out for whatever reason, he must not get into playing XI right away! Meant to say, it would be unfair to Vijay/Rahul, if Dhawan replace anyone of them in 1st SA test (but they shouldn't horribly failed in the ongoing series)

Yes, even if Vijay does not score runs he makes sure to take the shine off the ball. So batsmen coming after him are benefited.

Dhawan should be selected only if the pitch is helpful to batsmen because he can exploit it perfectly. Otherwise it should always be the combo of Vijay Rahul
