Report suggesting Telcos are confident that Starlink ain't a threat now

Latest GoI conditions for Starlink

We will see how many villagers can really afford the Starlink tag of 36k equipment + 7k subscription
The SatCom will connect mobile towers in remote locations to ground stations in urban areas. The villagers will connect to these mobile towers through their handsets and only pay for the normal mobile subscription plans with no additional expenditure.
For home broadband needs they can have Air fiber connected to that tower which is served by SatCom. That way the expense is bourn by the telco and not by the end user and it is way cheaper for the telcos to connect remote areas through SatCom than to spend on laying fiber all the way across the inhospitable terrain. The revenue generated from the previously unconnected subscribers is more than enough to offset the cost of setting up the SatCom link.

Can we expect Airfiber service (30mbps) from 4G towers by Telcos powered with satcom for village homes in future? as Telco stops 5G tower expansion in rural areas.
