Donald Trump is President now.
Elon Musk every business will groom now in India
Ambani and Sunil Mittal are strongly lobbying against Starlink's entrance in india and knowing this govt. i won't be surprised if they actually do something to stop Starlink from India.

I think Trump+Musk+USA combo is more powerful/influential than our local business tycoons lol... Too much money/trade/investments/military deals etc at stake from US side compared to local businesses... so StarLink (and also Tesla) should be cleared to start operating in India "soon".

Scindia on Tuesday said Elon Musk-owned Starlink is yet to comply with security norms, and a licence for satellite communications services will be issued only after they meet all the requirements for services in India. The satellite communication services major is in the process of completing all the requirements and will get a licence once they complete the process, the minister added.

Requirements met or not soon Musk will get the necessary go ahead since he's now got the backing no one could refuse

The Indian government is mulling over relaxing certain security rules for satellite communication licences to align with global standards. This could facilitate companies like Starlink and Amazon Kuiper to offer satellite-based telecom services in India.

The Communications Ministry has denied that the decision to administratively allocate satellite spectrum was meant to facilitate entry of Elon Musk’s Starlink in India.
