Before AP can demand special status these regional parties will first ask special status for their home states.

Foreign policy will go for a toss. And development will be not there at all.

AP means Andhra Pradesh or Arunachal Pradesh.
If it's Andhra Pradesh then, what BJP promised at 2014 Elections. What they are given to Andhra Pradesh, Nothing they given.
Even Congress has seperated One Telugu state into two, closing the parliament doors. BJP was supported. Out side BJPians said we will give Special Status. Till now nothing provided. No railway zone. No Special Package.
It is not a leaf to seperate one State into two parts. 99.99% political dramas. I won't opposing to separate one State into two. Some proper procedure should be there to do.

Have a look at UK, USA and European nations, i dont see regional parties winning at national elections.

And speaking of regional they dont have such parties at all. They have 2-3 party system, easy for people to decide, easy to form Govt, not like India where u for alliances of 20 parties which is unstable.

hence those nations are developed as they can take quick decisions and unlike us where local parties object and not allow parliament to function.

Only a Person who has no knowledge on US election and Indian election model will comment like this.

India is a country of different national identities. Regional parties has big roles in India growth.

Before 70s , South states were neglected , when regional parties got part of the Central Govt , south got schemes and get developed. No Around 50% GDP is coming from South India.

If there is no Regional parties in Central Govt, India would have not achieved this state. Be it Vajpayee Govt , Be it MMS Govt many achievement was from Regional Party Ministers.

Remember , if BJP had no alliance in 2014 with regional parties , they would have not win with that margin.
