Really? Money comes from sports. Instead of a seperate app for that. They have to bring a new app. Tamil content can be easily hosted in the existing app.

I agree but Tamil Content space is still there to be reaped and it costs lesser than the Hindi content.I see Zee5 also going the same way.They are gradually getting more into regional content especially the south indian ones and concentrating less on Hindi content.

Title of the Thread changed as it doesn't convey a correct info imo. Sony LIV will be venturing into Tamil Content ie., new Liv branded originals and direct TO OTT films. That's it. They aren't launching any new app for it. It will be like when Hotstar started to foray into Tamil market last year.

Ps. @Deep Mody bro and other members. My request is that, don't start unnecessary thread like this unless it's an official news/announcement from the service providers. Letsott might be a credible source in your opinion, but refrain from creating new threads. So, Posting these types of news on already existing threads is appreciated, unless it's announced by the service provider.
