Sony is offering battery repair incentives for some older Xperia phones: about $30
Recently, Sony has started announcing discounts on replacement batteries and repairs for some older Xperia models in select regional markets to help older users extend the life of their phones. The specific Xperia models include the Xperia XZ, Xperia XZs, Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ2, and Xperia XZ3. Apparently, the models are mainly related to the flagship models that Sony has previously sold. The cost of replacing the battery is said to be reduced to around RMB 230, with an additional Type-C charging cable included. A 10% discount is also available if other parts are repaired.
