Planning to buy solar water heater,. Which one is best for coastal region (Karnataka), tube or panel? & Which brand is best?

Emmvee / Solariser is sturdy compared to others. Try to buy one with full stainless steel instead of painted bodies since you stay in the coastal region. Also, decide on which suits you - FPC (copper plate) or ETC (glass tube) type? I prefer FPC considering the safety precautions needed for the glass tubes.

Panel type is always the best
Waaree and Bosch brands are manufactured in same plant.
Using the both brands for last 4 years. Very good performance.VFM
Regular cleanup of panel with mopping is needed.
Also install it below overhead tank level.

Why do you want to buy it? What purpose? It's about 30k right? I think normal immersion water heater is the cheapest option. I need that just for 2 months.

It is compulsory to install solar water heater to get new electricity connection.
