Virender Sehwag vs Shoaib Akhtar: After iconic battles on field, duo 'clash' in commentary box
For the first time, Akhtar and former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag shared a commentary box together for the official broadcasters of the recently concluded ICC World Twenty20, which forced viewers to glue to TV sets.

In the past, Akhtar has been part of the IPL's official commentary team, where he gave his analysis along side former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, Anchor Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochhar and many others.

But this time, his fans will miss him during the IPL's ninth edition as the fastest bowler tweeted that he is taking some time off from work as he wants to spend some time with his family.
