TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display is Cheap and commonly used in low end mobiles and feature phones. Consumes lot energy, thus resulting in huge power consumption.
IPS (In Plane Switching) display offers better display quality, larger viewing angle and consumes less power.
OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) or AMOLED : Excellent colour reproduction, faster response, wider viewing angle, higher brightness and extremely light weight. Costlier too.
