We have learned that Samsung is working on a fourth Galaxy M smartphone. It goes under the model number SM-M405F and is no doubt going to be launched as the Galaxy M40. The M40 was certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance earlier this month, with the certification revealing the M40 would be the first device in the Galaxy M series to come with Android Pie out of the box. Our sources tell us it will come with 128GB of storage, but that’s about it for the information we currently have on this handset.

Like the first three Galaxy M phones, the Galaxy M40 will most likely make its debut in India, although it’s impossible to say exactly when the launch will take place.

Now we know why M10, M20, A10, A30 prices coming down. Also M series means online exclusive budget phones so it will be priced very well, hopefully. 25W super fast charging another thing to look for!

Samsung is likely to launch the much-awaited Galaxy M40 smartphone early next month for nearly Rs 25,000 in India.

Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a triple camera system, Galaxy M40 -- the India-first smartphone in the popular Galaxy M series -- is set to be the most powerful offering in the series, industry sources told on Monday.

Samsung is also likely to introduce some flagship features on Galaxy M40, starting with the "Hole-in-Display", a technology that's currently found on the South Korean tech giant's flagship S10 series.
