can you connect by ethernet?

No by default, there is no Ethernet Port.

Not yet checked if it supports OTG or OTG is enabled ( I have one OTG cable for Fire Stick to try)
Even it support Ethernet adapter by OTG, the speed will be limited to 100 Mbps becuase of Micro USB port
However stick itself has Wifi 5GHz 802.11AC
It has much better speed than 100 Mbps Ethernet working on OTG
