Good News Review of Jio Phone 2

Finally my Jio Phone 2 arrived last Sunday and after using it for 3 to 4 days I am sharing my feedback:

Features:

1. Qwerty Keypad
2. Whatsapp Messenger - Specially designed for this phone.
3. Facebook Messenger
4. Jio Chat
5. Jio Video Call
6.You Tube
7. Hotstar
8. Selfie and Rear Camera
and many other apps including gmail.

Pros:

1. Qwerty Keypad
2. LED Torch Light
3. Wireless FM Radio
4. Selfie Mode - Camera
5. English Guru - One app for doing Spoken English Course (Free)
6. Dual Sim - One 4G Volte Slot
7. Free Jio Sim (If required) but any old jio sim can also be used
8. Cash on Delivery option available.

Cons:

1. Only 512 MB Ram
2. Only 4GB Internal Memory
3. No Flash in Camera
4. Sometimes Hangs
5. Sim 1 must be Jio and no other sim
6. No Call Recording option
7. Headphone is not provided with the handset.
8. Can be bought in online mode only
9. Whatsapp Voice and Video Call support system is not there.

7. Free Jio Sim

Price: RS 2,999/- only. But extra RS 99 to be paid for delivery charges.

So Total - RS 3.098/- only.

My Scores:

1. Performance - 6/10
2. Features - 7/10
3. Can be considered as a mini smart phone - Yes
4. Suitable for video calls to any country - No. Because video quality is very bad
5. Battery - 9/10
6. FM Radio Wireless - 10/10
7. Suitable to play games - With 512 MB ram it is requested not to play any higher end games. Only basic games are fine.
8. Technology- 7/10
9. Overall - 7/10

Kindly note, without Jio Sim this handset is useless. Normal Jio recharges not applicable for this phone. Only Jio Phone recharge amount supported.

Any Jio SIM can be used in this phone. The only difference is jio phone plans will not work in non-jiophone.

Hotspot is not there but wifi is there.
