Why should we can't record WiFi Calls?

Only samsung knows the answer why they restricted the call recording in wifi calling. But now after one ui 6.1 update they had enabled it.

Samsung smartphones can now record VoWiFi calls

Galaxy smartphones running on OneUI 6.1 can record voice calls even in VoWiFi mode. Recording a voice call on a Galaxy smartphone just got upgraded, where users can now record in VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) mode. Right now, the feature is limited to the Galaxy S24 series, running on OneUI 6.1...

I got OTA update for my OnePlus Nord 3 with the April security patch today but it's still showing VoLte not VoNr

It used to work on my 15 Pro Max 5 months back in Mumbai. But now it switches to LTE during calls. I have the Voice over 5G standalone toggle enables. It seems like they disabled it for iPhones in Mumbai as calls were getting dropped left and right.

On OnePlus 12, forcing it to NR Only by installing Net Monster app -> Phone info seems to enable Vo5G but Oxygen OS still displays VoLTE symbol.

In Tamilnadu :
VoNR and 5G dsta is working. But the phone (Samsung A52s 5G) switches to 4G when voice call is made or received.

If I force the phone to 5G only mode, the voice call either does not go through or stays silent after getting connected (time will run).

Any update regarding Samsung phones?.

Note : I mean without rooting or changing the OS in any way.

Same here, it switches to 4g while making a call on 5g, it's happening all over India I guess

No VoNR in TN. As of now only Select parts of Bengaluru, Hyd and Delhi have VoNR live with Nokia

Why are they purposefully delaying the technology implementation?.

I think 3G was the only technology that was launched with voice and data capabilities at the same time.
