Yes...i too got an sms requesting to PORT ur num to Airtel.I was unable to make calls from yesterday nyt.

They are not merging with Airtel, but how can they ask users to port to Airtel

Go to any reliance store. If your number not permanently terminated they can reactive it for sometime. Then you can send port SMS and port your number another network. I had faced same problem 2 days ago. I done it by going reliance store or office.
