As per statement, they will gradually go out from circulation.

May be ATM will dispense only new 100Rs Note (can confirm this) and may be CDM will stop accepting old 100Rs Note. Stopping old Rs5 and Rs10 notes, may be to promote use of coins. No need to stop these notes as legal tender anyway.

They cannot stop anything now as already everyone is disturbed due to Covid and also it is very difficult to go to banks to deposits the old currency in this Covid situation, this news is fake.

Its different from Demonetization, its just simple out of circulation that means once bank received 50 rupees note it will not sent back in circulation.

There is nothing new in it, every year they do this procedure for old notes
