The Reserve bank of India is set to release a new violet Rs 100 note in violet colour by next month, as reported by Zee Busines. The new note will be slightly bigger than that of Rs 10 and bear the impression of Gujarat’s historic stepwell Rani ki Vav. Despite the new, the release of new notes, circulation of the old Rs 100 note will be not be impacted.

The printing of the new Rs 100 notes has begun at the printing press in Dewas with foreign ink. In order to transcend its circulation, banks will have to make changes in the ATMs to accommodate the newly made notes, similar to other new notes of various denominations.

Reserve Bank of India - Press Releases

That's a fantastic move towards demonetization by the BJP Government and now India will again move one step ahead into the digital world.

Why did they Ban the 500 and 1000 rupee notes?
Because the BJP led Government thought that...
  • It will help the government to fight Black money, corruption, terrorism and counterfeit currency with one single decision.
  • Arms smuggling, espionage and terrorist related activities will be choked due to lack of funding.
  • Counterfeit currencies are being used for financing terrorism which is being run by the enemy in India. Now Govt has taken a bold move which enables them to fight counterfeit currency/terrorist funding activities.
And now releasing the rupee notes in different colors, is it really going to fight black money and curd terrorism funding?
Note: I'm a Anti National according to BJP
