He is proper middle order batsman. When Surya wasn't there, he scored runs against Australia in middle order. He can be good replacement for Kohli in ODIs, if Kohli retires now. T20i, no chance. Pandya, Reddy, Rinku occupied. Parag and Tilak in the back up. Samson, Sharma, Jaiswal at opening. No chance for Gaikwad to break in. Next innings and A tour is make or break for Gaikwad. I believe Rohit and Kohli will leave for WTC 25 and CT25. Gambhir will force them to retire.
