I have used Railwire Broadband in the past. The speeds aren't up to mark.

On high-speed plans, we don't get promised speeds. Sadly, it never improved despite me showing the issue to LCO and even the MSO.

Apart from that I also got slowless/speed drops from time to time.

Another problem was daily, at around 12:10 am the GPON would disconnect and reconnect, I don't know why.

Overall, my experience with Railwire wasn't satisfactory. ☹️

In my last few days with them, their speed improved quite a lot and I stopped seeing slowdowns often. It was often touching 200Mbps (my plan) but the disconnect issues are quite often here.

I used Railwire during 2013, those days I used to get the plan speed but later I switched to BSNL, since the cost of BSNL was less and they had given a landline.
Our neighbours here in my area are using a railwire and said no issues so far. It's upto LCO when it comes to a reliable service, for us BSNL and Railwire are given by the same LCO and same Line. Both BSNL and Railwire outage is very rare here. I think considering the cost and OTT Railwire is better than BSNL.

This is absolutely great plans considering the Ott offering
Competition brings big players to their knees. Railwire isn't even big player. We need competition to Airtel/Jio/Tata. ACT/Excitel/Alliance/Asianet express has improved their services. Now it's upto other players to step up and give cheap 200-400Mbps plans under 1200-1500.

We need similar kind of competition at the end of the year. BSNL should complete deployment of 1.5L sites with 2100Mhz+700Mhz(10Mhz each, if possible CA between them).
