Problem of opening match not Having big teams clash people less talk about them and hype also gets less

Its not just that.For a regular watcher of football like me WC at this point of time seems so odd.For people who watch once in 4yrs it is definitely a long awaited tournament.

I guess the anticipation,the excitement and the eagerness to win it at all costs is because it doesn't happens every year/every 2nd year.I would rather prefer it to be in the form it is now.

4 years is too long. If we live till 60 We will only have 15 World Cups to remember by. 14 if you have bad childhood memory. T20 World Cup is happening every year nowadays. It is still adored and considered important.

That's why you didn't remember. I didn't remember either as I was 2. 2006 World Cup was the first I cared about. Streets were empty during the Semi Finals and Finals. I even got free leave from tution as mam's family was enjoying the World Cup.

But i recall some moments specially carlos before taking free-kick moment dummy jump by a brazil player was a stand out moment and i fear that time player name hakan shukar ( turkey) senegal as a team also was that time played well

Football World Cup is about 1 every 4 years that what makes the event have its prestige. Very few players play 4 or 5 WC thats what makes winning one so special. If you have a WC every 2 years players playing for 18-20 years like Messi Ronaldo will be playing 9 or 10 WC and would have surely won one by now.

Dont compare Football and T20 Cricket. 20 countries play cricket with 5-6 nations realistrically having chance of winning WC whereas in Football we have lots of examples where really good teams not even making the WC like Italy this year Holland previous WC and so on
