Congratulations.. and nice performance numbers comparison.. I find using non-SSD laptops frustrating due to their slow boot up & any major copy/search operations.

You plan to use it just as a portable drive OR want to plug it into your computer/laptop as a fixed drive permanently?

Yes Bro, laptop boots in few seconds and almost all application opens instantly.
Hard disk drives are very slow and it becomes extremely slow if there is any major background task is going on such as installing updates or copy / paste but, SSD doesn't slow down.
HDD is best for storing files.

I replaced my laptop internal HDD with SSD. And using HDD as external hard drive.
