Problem in my laptop

when i switch on my laptop,iam getting sound but nothing in screen,only getting black light.I connected to projector and find eveything ok no problem in OS.
So what is the problem?

you have to call ur authorized technical fellow of your brand of laptop to change it. dont do it locally as it may damage your laptop.

Yes it is an HP laptop and just 3years old.
There was no mark in display of lcd but suddenly goes blank.

tell me whether you could see any light on the screen when you boot up.

Also try to increase the brightness of the screen using the keys on keyboard and check you see any changes (like the black screen getting darker or lighter). this is to check whehter the backlight is gone or not

When i boot up i see light in scrren and backlight is working.
But nothing seen in screen.

May be a RAM problem....
Just remove the RAM & re-insert it back... mainly during rainy season this problems comes
