So this is what i was able to understand till now:

12 teams will be divided into 2 groups of 6 each

Each team will play thrice with the teams in their own group, so 5 teams X 3 matches = 15 matches
Each team will play once with the teams in the other group, so 6 teams X 1 match = 6 Matches,
each team will also play 1 more match with any 1 of the team in the other group, we will come to know about that later on. I believe it will depend on Points Table.

So each team will play 15+6+1= 22 matches in the group stage.

Now moving onto the play offs.
3 teams from each group will qualify for the play offs

2nd team from Group A (A2) will play against 3rd team from Group B (B3)
3rd team from Group A (A3) will play against 2nd team from Group B (B2)

Winner of the above 2 matches will play against each other.
The winner between them will play against the loser of the below match:

1st team from Group A (A1) will play against 1st team from Group (B1). The winner will go to the final while the loser will play the above match.

Do correct me if i am wrong somewhere :k :tup

This is how the team have been grouped :

Sonu Narwal removed from Haryana Steelers squad on PKL website

It seems though one of their star raiders will not be a part of the Steelers squad after his name was removed from their page on the official Pro Kabaddi website. Sonu Narwal, who is one of the most experienced names in the sport, has three seasons of PKL experience under his belt and averages 4.18 raid points per match, which is quite a decent return.

He was part of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games, defeating Iran in the final, and has previously starred for the Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan. At the auction, he was bought for a bargain sum of Rs 21 lakhs, which was widely acknowledged as one of the best value-for-money purchases.

Here is a screengrab from the PKL website of Haryana's squad, that does not include the veteran raider:

However, if you look at Sonu Narwal's official profile on the same website, he is still shown as a Haryana Steelers player. When contacted about the same, the team's spokespersons refused to make any official comment on the matter.

On the team's page, Narwal has apparently been replaced by raider Mohammed Bilal, whose profile has no information available on the site. A quick look at the list of players who went under the hammer in May shows a raider named Mohd. Bilal, who is 21 years old, hails from Uttar Pradesh and has played at the Senior State Level.

The team have also stated that they will make an official announcement in this regard soon.

Bengaluru Bulls shift their home matches to Nagpur

The Bulls said in a statement that their home matches scheduled to be held at Sree Kanteerava Stadium will now be played at Nagpur's Mankapur Indoor Stadium.

The league starting 28 July has seen a last minute change of venue due to the unavailability of the Kanteerava Stadium.

Unfortunately, the Department of Youth Empowerment and Services, that manages the stadium bookings, has not yet responded to the long pending request of deploying the venue for the Kabaddi matches.

Bengaluru Bulls were scheduled to play in the city from 4-10 August.

"Since Akshay has a new sports film coming up, his team has been looking into franchises to invest in," stated the source. "They were earlier looking to buy a stake in a Hockey India League (HIL) team, but since there is uncertainty regarding its future, they looked at another sport and opted for the Pro Kabaddi League."

The source added, "The first choice was Punjab, but there is no team in the league from there. There was an opening for a co-owner role in the Bengal Warriors and hence they opted for it."
