It's Himachal Pradesh. At that time there was no 4G Data, may be it was a glitch because their 4G Services are not launched yet, it's a testing phase.

During testing it happens. Even last year when airtel was testing, I enjoyed 4G in 2G data.

It doesn't looks like Airtel is learning anything by Jio's performance and offers.
Just checkout the speeds of both. Jio blew me away with staggering speed. Never got such speed before from Jio.
