They are doing more than enough for a non member state. Sanctions will hurt NATO members as much as Russia. They are still sacrificing their main source of energy.

We will have this debate on why and why couldn't Ukraine couldn't join NATO after the conflict is over.

India should have openly condemned Russia like the other Quad countries are doing, but we are maintaining a neutral stance just coz majority of our defence import needs are fulfilled by Russia. This doesn't justify their invasion of Ukraine and the threatening of their geographic integrity. If Ukraine wishes to join NATO this is their internal matter, Russia has no say in their internal politics.
 
How this will affect Russia in football?
Will Russia Qualify for Fifa WC without playing, because Russia is ready to play it's others who are refusing.
 
If any country of the free world plays against them. It's better to boycott them as well. It's time we rob them off opportunities. Why isn't Russia ever hold accountable by anyone? They had scuffle with English fans during Euro in 2016. Yet, they were still rewarded with World Cup in 2018. Only West has to suffer. Here Champions League final is not taking place in Wembley.

Afaik, No we shouldn't and its good we have not. Self-interest point and dependency for defence, at present, has already been mentioned by you. And ukraine has been openly against us in the past. We still did business with them and will continue to do so if they survive. But our support will not come cheap. Btw, which of these personalities or countries openely condemned China when it attacked us in Doklam.

But apart from that, we dont want russia to slide into deeper embrace with China. USA's support doesnt count for sh#t as it is turning out, just few months back in Afghanistan and now ukraine. We are on our own against China.

Even Japan is realizing that.
