Pls. help

I have a hard disk of 300gb..Till yesterday night there are three drive three dives were present viz C drive 60gb, D drive 120gb & E drive 120gb..Today morning I am getting only 2 drives C & E drive..But cant able to locate D drive...How can I get it back??
Last activity I performed on D & E drive is I transferred 1 folder folder from D drive to E drive..I am not getting that folder also..And D drive is totally vanished..I tried restoring the system but nothing happened..How can i get my D drive back??
Experts pls. help..

Goto Start >> Run >> diskmgmt.msc

Do you have the D: partition in the Disk Management window. If yes, right click and make it active.

But making a partition active will cause boot failure. Isn't it ?

No..It is there as free space..Total drive blank..

looks like you have deleted the partition...

right click >> create new partition
again right click >> format partition

now you can see it in my computer
