Some of you already know that I am having the below decoder.

Now, I am planning to buy another decoder which can decode the digital HDMI signal and produce HDMI output and 5.1 audio analog output. I found the below product in eBay from 2 sellers.

Please share your opinion on buying this product

Sadiq Bro,i think online price is costly bro & better to purchase in offline shop with warranty & U want hdmi to hdmi or hdmi to vga connector :huh

I would like to know, Why are you going for these converters instead u could try to buy a new home theater which can take digital input. Its better to go for new home theater so that if we can play usb movies on tv we can enjoy the audio on tv.

Also we should account that there should be some convertion and transmission loss if we go for converters...

You are right! But I already have an analog 5.1 home theater of below model.

It's output quality is very good though it is analog. I bought it using free coupon from office.

Now if I am buying a new digital home theater system, it is costing a minimum of Rs.8000 including DVD player. If it is with Blu-Ray player, it is going to a minimum of Rs.10000 to Rs.11000.

The cost of this device at online is Rs.5000 and I can still use my current F&D analog home theater.

Also we should account that there should be some convertion and transmission loss if we go for converters...

Yes, it is true. But it is negligible at audio but considerable for video. But my TV is not full HD but HD ready. So, even if the Full HD video is having some loss while taking output from this converter. I think I don't feel any difference.
