Can anybody please shed some light on Annual Mandatory check-up(inspection) of gas connection by BharatGas ?
They are asking for Rs 240/- as charges (for doing nothing) or my connection will be blocked until I pay.
Any ideas ?

Yes it's a organised loot between indane , bharat & hp .. they doing this loot on yearly basis on various price on various state's of our country

Yes just to put money in trash .. in TN it was around 150 for Indane this year yet to come i think due to pandemic they postponed
Now using domestic gas for comercial purpose will increase government presure people to go illegal 😤
Now states needs to reduce vat from commerical cylinder which is under GST. 😂

Earlier some of the local restaurants did used to take up domestic lpg for commercial purposes thats why they used to have so much long delay as they kept stock for those restaurants. then it reduced after thy did put some checks then started getting delivered timely basis to some extent, fault with distributors as they had some arrangements with nearby restaurants .

p.s cant complain solely on companies it might be due to govt policy or dealers suggestion to govt/cos to increase revenue . in future one of the cos bpcl would be sold to private company - example rel or others , other cos then they might even start charging more . though hope they do reduce the amount to earlier , as though motive of having safety of all is good - hope they keep it affordable as well .

Saw Hardeep Puri's statements on Rajya Sabha 2 days back. I think he is considering make transportation easier than reducing weight.
The issues are

Reducing the LPG or overall weight ??

What could be the price weight reduction ??

If it reduces the overall weight then its safe to handle the pressure ??

It's too early to say. Now only first level talks are going on.

In some relief for consumers on New Year, National Oil Marketing companies have slashed the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder cost by ₹102.50 effective from January 1, 2022.
