Younis Khan becomes 1st Pakistani to register 10,000 Test runs
Younis Khan on Sunday (April 23) became the first Pakistani and the 13th batsman in the world to register 10,000 runs in Test cricket. Needing 23 runs to reach the landmark at the start of the first Test against West Indies at the Sabina Park, the 39-year old batsman moved from 22 to 26 with a sweep off Roston Chase.
Other batsmen in the elite list include Sachin Tendulkar , Ricky Ponting, Kumar Sangakkara, Jacques Kallis, Rahul Dravid, Brian Lara, Mahela Jayawardene, Allan Border, Sunil Gavaskar, Alastair Cook, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Steve Waugh.
